This has been a week of beautiful things.
First, we went to see the sun set on Lake Ester with Copper the three legged scruffy beauty!
Copper was fascinated by the foam on the surface of the lake!
Next we went to the High Falls at Pigeon River State Park on the Canadian/American border which was amazing. There was a new walk way through the trees which the three house dogs loved!
We have a huge amount of dragonflies here (which is good because they eat the mosquitoes!) but Phoneix loves to try and eat them!
Lastly we went to the Rendezvous and Pow Wow which is a heritage centre event and annual native american gathering. At the first we leant about the fur trading communities between Northern Native Americans and the Scots and English which was interesting.
The PowWow was very powerful with the drums and singing and traditional dancing. There was hundreds of dancers including veterans and it was an amazing specatcle!
